Many thanks to all my readers and friends who have been given Rice Bowl Tales and myself their kind and sincere supports all these time.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous year of the snake 2013!

Lotus Root Cake

Homemade Rice Flour Rolls

Bacon - Wrapped Scallops & Stir Fried Noodles with Vegetables

Beef Ramen in a Clear Broth

Grilled Chicken Ramen Soup

Sweet and Sour Pork

Fillets of Fish in Sweetcorn Sauce

The New version of my Puff Pastry Egg Tart is ready! They are crunchier and softer, and taste even better! The method is slightly different from the previous one but more fault-proof, so it will be easier for you to follow. Our daughter is home this week and so after the New Year I will write and share the recipe with you.

Oh my...how much I wish I was invited to your house during CNY! I love all your dishes! LOL My mum got so lazy this year she actually got takeaway delivered to our house and then plated as if she made them! Either way a shame because I was in Melbourne and didn't get to celebrate with them :(

Ohhh I'm so excited about your new updated version of the egg tarts! Its on my MUST BAKE this year to try and make egg tarts at home!!!

    1. Dear Daisy,

Gong Xi Fa Cai (Mandarin :p)! Thank you so much for your kind thought and good wishes. I Wish you, Ricky and your family a fabulous Year of the Snake too!! With good health, good fortune and prosperity!!

With my daughter's help, cooking big family dinners are not much of a task nowadays, though I still feel like there isn't enough hours in a day. May be I try to do too many things all at once; eg. my photography, writings and my blog ... and my recipe has to be completely fault-proof on my part before I post it to share, hence the blog post is not updating as frequently as I wish. Hope everybody will still be patient with me.

The post for the egg tart should be up before this Friday.

Look forward to seeing all your gorgeously yummy baking this year as well as all your delicious food related post :D
